Honoring Black History, Culture, and Community

The Media Factory has put together a collection of videos created by our broader community, focusing on the Black experience in Vermont and beyond.

In recognition of Black History Month, the Media Factory has put together a collection of videos created by our broader community, focusing on the Black experience in Vermont and beyond. We have selected works that feature African diaspora speakers, authors, creators, and historians, sharing knowledge. We also highlight Black history in Vermont and the United States. Finally, we recognize the current moment, as communities around Vermont address systemic racism and advocate for Black lives.

Watch Saturdays at 8pm on LEARN - BT 16 and Comcast 1094
and throughout the month on CREATE - BT 15 + 215, and Comcast 1074

While we take this month to curate these videos, it the Media Factory's mission year-round to amplify the voices of our community, sharing the videos and stories by and about Black Vermonters as a vital part of our region.
