Seeking A New Media Factory Board Member!

Deadline for nominations Friday, April 29th, 2022

What does the Media Factory board do?

The board oversees the operations of the Media Factory, our cable access channels, community radio station, and a growing list of media-related services. They develop policies for the organization, ensure responsible use of cable access funds, strategize about outreach and development efforts, and infuse community accountability and transparency into all that we do. The eleven-member board has 2 member-elected positions and 9 appointed positions.

Meetings are generally held once a month with some additional committee work included between meetings.

How many seats are open?

One director is elected from our community each year by registered members of the Media Factory to serve a two-year term.

Who is eligible for candidacy?

In accordance with our by-laws, an eligible candidate is any member of the public who is 18 or older and is an active member of the Media Factory in good standing. Contact the Media Factory at 802-652-9692 or email election@mediafactory.org  if you have questions about your membership.

How do I nominate someone or myself?
